Certificate of Authorization Directory

This directory (an addendum to The Roll of Public Accountants of Ontario) contains a listing of all professional corporations that currently hold a Certificate of Authorization (COA) or have held a COA within the last 5 years. The COA is required by a professional corporation to practice public accounting in Ontario. Pursuant to Bylaw s. 13.4.3, CPA Ontario may exempt a member or professional corporation from having their contact information being made available to the public where CPA Ontario is of the opinion that there are legitimate concerns surrounding a member’s personal security.

Please note that firms that are not a professional corporation do not require a COA to practice public accounting and, therefore, this listing does not include all firms entitled to practice public accounting.

This directory does not include a listing of members who hold or have held a Public Accounting Licence (PAL). For that directory, please see the Public Accounting Licence (Individual) page.
