Belal Raifai, CPA

For Belal Raifai, the rapid evolution of the profession is a call to shape its next generation of leaders. He believes CPAs are uniquely positioned to connect business, technology, governance and sustainability – bringing a panoramic, forward-looking perspective that enables informed decisions.

As a Senior Manager in PwC Canada’s Digital Risk Solutions practice, he guides organizations through complex digital transformation journeys, advising on compliance, strengthening risk management and enabling innovation. He is actively helping transform accounting and risk advisory practices by embedding cutting-edge technologies.

Belal is equally passionate about developing future-ready professionals. Through his board role with the ISACA Toronto Chapter, he founded TechTrack – a flagship initiative that gives students and early-career professionals hands-on exposure to IT audit, cybersecurity and AI. The program now welcomes more than 200 participants each year.

A dedicated educator, Belal supports curriculum development for emerging programs across several institutions and is a co-instructor at the University of Toronto. He has mentored more than 50 CPA candidates and is a frequent guest speaker at universities, championing the designation and its diverse career paths.
