Jacqueline Sue, CPA

Jacqueline Sue was inspired by the “universal language” of business that CPAs can bring to countless industries.

She began her career at Deloitte, helping private companies build strong and resilient financial foundations. She later co-founded &Vision Inc., a volunteer organization supporting youth facing geographic and generational barriers, and served as Senior Finance Director at Techyon, the organization behind Hack the North, Canada’s biggest hackathon.

Today, Jacqueline serves as Director of Finance and People & Culture at Palette Skills Inc., a national non-profit that connects Canadians with meaningful career pathways. As the organization’s first administrative hire, she developed the financial, operational and talent infrastructure that supported its growth from stewarding $1 million to more than $200 million in funds.

Jacqueline gives back as a board member of the Accounting and Finance Endowment Fund at the University of Waterloo and serves on the board of Park Street Education. Her experience in the non-profit and start-up sectors has shown her that CPAs play a crucial role monitoring the pulse of an organization, supporting growth that is not only fast, but also sustainable, ethical and lasting.
