Kaz Nesbitt, CPA, CA

Known for helping clients navigate complex transitions with clarity and confidence, Kaz Nesbitt is a Tax Partner at Doane Grant Thornton, where he specializes in tax planning for private businesses and their owners.

Kaz is passionate about learning and development; he plays a key role on the firm’s national tax learning and development committee, supporting excellence across the organization. He also teaches in the Graduate Diploma in Accounting program at Ontario Tech University and has served as a CPA Ontario mentor. He is lauded by his peers and students for his commitment to equipping the next generation with the skills needed for meaningful, values‑driven careers.

Kaz also lends his expertise to a number of charitable organizations and regularly contributes to Canada's tax community as a writer and speaker with the Canadian Tax Foundation.
