Adelaide Chiu has built a career at the intersection of finance and sustainability, demonstrating how CPA expertise can help shape the future of investing responsibly. With over 25 years of experience, she has held leadership roles managing Canadian and global investment portfolios at Mackenzie Investments, OMERS and NEI Investments. She is a board director of the Responsible Investment Association and an inaugural board member of the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board, where she is helping develop Canada’s first voluntary set of sustainability disclosure standards. She is well respected for her expertise in corporate sustainability disclosure and has participated on both Canadian and global industry panels. She is a member of the advisory council of Clear Skies Investment Management, an impact investment firm.
