Angelica DeVos, FCPA, FCA

Described by her peers as a brilliant, compassionate leader, Angelica DeVos has devoted more than two decades to transforming services for individuals with developmental disabilities. As Vice-President of Priority Initiatives, CFO and acting CEO of Karis Disability Services, she helped grow the organization from $63 million to $228 million in annual revenue, making it Canada’s largest developmental service provider. Her leadership approach combines financial expertise with compassion, introducing innovative practices like zero-based budgeting to ensure the organization remains sustainable during challenging funding periods and guiding Karis’ expansion into Saskatchewan to support deinstitutionalization efforts.
Angelica’s influence extends globally through her oversight of Karis’ international partnerships in 6 countries and locally through volunteer leadership. She chaired Ontario’s OASIS Business Resource Committee for six years, serves on the Waterloo Economic Development Corporation board and earned a distinguished service award for supporting youth athletics.
