Darlene Dasent is a driving force of meaningful change who started her career with Ernst & Young and PwC, where she developed a foundation to inspire excellence and blend analytical precision with deep humanity and purpose. She currently serves as the Executive Vice-President and CFO of University Health Network (UHN), Canada's largest academic hospital and one of the world's top-ranked health care organizations. For over 20 years, she has helped UHN grow, adapt and innovate - all with a determination for ensuring quality, accessible care for Canadians. Darlene champions public health and has played a defining role in strengthening stewardship, driving large-scale transformation and fostering environments where individuals and teams can thrive.
Darlene is equally committed to mentoring and co-founded the only CPA pre-approved training program in an Ontario hospital, creating a pathway for future leaders in health care. A trailblazing leader, she was named to the Women’s Executive Network list of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2018.
