Jeffery Ostrow, FCPA, FCA

During Jeffery Ostrow’s three-decade career, he has become a community and business leader in Southern Ontario. He helped build successful local accounting firm Hyatt Lassaline, which merged with Doane Grant Thornton in 2019. He is proud to have mentored many CPA graduates and firm alumni now working across Windsor and Essex County. Jeffery also played a crucial role in the growth of the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex, where he served as Treasurer for 15 years. He helped it grow from its kitchen-table beginnings into a vital organization ready to meet the rising need for dementia care and was appointed Board Chair in 2024. Jeffery is also active in his parish and youth sports, all while raising four kids.

His approach to public accounting and community service is simple: when he sees a gap he can fill, he steps in. He encourages young CPAs to do the same by finding places where they, too, can make a difference.
