Joelle Gott has spent more than 25 years at Deloitte building a practice that has changed lives. As the senior partner leading the Strategy, Risk & Transactions national Claims practice, Joelle has overseen some of the country’s largest and most complex class action settlements. From the $23 billion First Nations Child Welfare settlement to the Canadian Armed Forces LGBT Purge and Indian Day Schools cases, Joelle’s work has helped address historic injustices and distribute billions in compensation to Canadians. Her expertise in forensic accounting and litigation support has earned her recognition as an expert witness before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Joelle serves on the board of the Métis Voyageur Development Fund, mentors young women through Deloitte’s Women’s Impact Network and volunteers with the North York Harvest Food Bank alongside her family. Joelle believes leadership means demonstrating both resilience and compassion, whether through mentorship, advocacy or creating opportunities for reconciliation and growth.
