Kam Grewal, FCPA, FCA

Kam Grewal has made a lasting impact on the public trust and has shaped the standards for audit quality in Canada and beyond. As the National Assurance Risk Management Leader at Ernst & Young Canada, Kam has helped set the national benchmarks for excellence by developing and implementing the firm’s audit quality indicator dashboard and authoring the annual Our Commitment to Quality report. As Vice-President at the Canadian Public Accountability Board, he introduced protocols that strengthened transparency across the profession. Kam’s influence extends globally through his work with the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, influencing international standards and integrating data analytics into assurance practices.

Kam is also deeply committed to education and community service. He has mentored students as the Vice-Chair of Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Accounting and Finance Advisory Council, serves as Chair of CPA Ontario’s Public Accounting Standards Committee and supported food security initiatives with Seva Food Bank. As one of his peers has noted, Kam exemplifies the values of the profession and continues to elevate its standards.
