Kevin Travers, FCPA, FCA

Kevin Travers was first inspired to pursue his CPA in Grade 9, which makes becoming a Fellow the culmination of a lifetime of passion. He built KPMG’s Cities practice into a national leader, guiding audits for major municipalities including the City of Toronto. At the forefront of analyzing and shaping new accounting standards impacting public sector clients, he is considered a leading authority on the Public Sector Accounting Standards framework. He has helped high-profile clients navigate change with confidence by making complex issues clear and providing sound advice.

Kevin has served for over a decade on the board of Caledon Community Services and was recently appointed Chair of Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Foundation. In 2019, he received the Bonnie Yagar Award for Outstanding Board Leadership. Through his community work, he hopes to set an example for his children about the importance of giving back.
