Laurie Tucker, FCPA, FCA

Laurie Tucker has spent more than 30 years helping families and communities thrive. She first found her niche working in a single-family office serving one of Canada’s preeminent business families for over a decade. In 2022, she joined KPMG’s Regions East Family Office as Executive Director to spearhead the growth of this new practice, where she has expanded the client base and introduced new structure, processes and technology. Laurie is proud of her role guiding multi-generational families in preserving their wealth and legacies and enjoys empowering younger family members by improving their financial literacy and confidence.

Laurie is committed to opening pathways for women in the profession. Through KPMG’s Thrive Women’s Network, she helps female managers develop the skills needed to advance their careers. She has also served on the board of Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter and is a financial literacy and income tax preparation volunteer. Laurie has also made significant contributions to the CPA educational process as an instructor and exam marker. Laurie’s career is proof of her deep commitment to using her CPA skills to help others succeed.
