Mabel Wong, FCPA, FCA

Mabel Wong is a visionary finance leader whose career showcases the global reach and impact of the profession. As CFO of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, she oversees a global finance team that is shaping strategies that strengthen Canada’s largest single-profession pension plan, with a current focus on modernizing data across the enterprise. Previously, she spent 15 years at Brookfield Asset Management, where she developed high performing finance teams, championed diversity and inclusion, and mentored future leaders.

Mabel is passionate about advancing education and opportunities for children globally. She has served on the board of UNICEF Canada since 2016, and in 2025 was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of her contributions. In 2026, she will be joining the UBC Sauder School of Business Faculty Advisory Board, returning to her alma mater to support the next generation of leaders. Mabel is an example of the impact of CPA leadership, at home and around the world.
