Nadine Petsche, FCPA, FCA

Nadine Petsche is a leader in public-sector governance known for advancing accountability and transparency in the provincial government, crown-corporations and public sector agencies. At Ontario’s Treasury Board Secretariat, she collaborated at the federal and provincial levels and with the Public Sector Accounting Board to strengthen Canadian public sector accounting standards. She also established the internal audit function at Hydro One and transformed audit and risk management practices at the Electrical Safety Authority and the Technical Standards and Safety Authority. As a consultant, she also supports boards and organizations building strong governance practices.
Nadine has also promoted ethical leadership and good governance through her volunteer roles with the Institute of Internal Auditors and post-secondary institutions as a mentor to future CPAs. She is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of Canadians and believes enhanced governance practices are an impactful way to do that. A principled bridge-builder and trusted voice, Nadine has contributed to strengthened governance practices in the public sector that, as a mother of four, she hopes will serve the public interest for generations to come.
