Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs)

Members in good standing of these accounting bodies may qualify for admission to membership in CPA Ontario.

U.S. State Boards of Accountancy

Member of a reciprocal membership body

Members in good standing of these accounting bodies may qualify for CPA Ontario membership under the reciprocal membership body pathway.

CAANZ - Australia and New Zealand
ICAEW - England and Wales
HKICPA - Hong Kong Institute
CA - Ireland
ICAS - Scotland
SAICA - South Africa
ICAZ - Zimbabwe

Member of a recognized accounting body

Members in good standing of these accounting bodies may qualify for membership under the recognized accounting body pathway.

IEC-IAB - Belgium
CSOEC - France
JICPA - Japan

Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)

Members in good standing of accounting bodies with MOUs may for an express route to a CPA designation in Ontario.

ICAI - India
ICAP - Pakistan
ICAN - Nigeria
ICMAP - Pakistan
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants

All other professional accounting bodies

Members in good standing with professional accounting bodies not listed above may qualify for an advance standing in CPA Ontario's Student program.
