If you or a guest require disability-related accommodation (e.g. barrier-free access, ASL interpreters) please contact convocation@cpaontario.ca after you have completed the registration form to confirm your attendance.
After completing the registration form, you can return to the Tassel Hub to access your guests’ tickets. Please note that CFE writers do not require a ticket. Instead, you will receive a stage pass when you check in on convocation day.
Please note that it is the CFE Writer’s responsibility to ensure tickets are delivered to their guests.
If you have any questions or concerns, or if you have any trouble accessing your tickets, please contact convocation@cpaontario.ca.
Each successful CFE writer may bring up to two guests. If you would like to request additional tickets, you can do so when submitting your registration form. Please note that tickets cannot be purchased and requests for additional tickets are not guaranteed, as availability depends on the overall attendance for each ceremony.
If extra tickets become available, all requests will be randomly allocated by mid-April, and any assigned tickets will be added directly to your Tassel account.
Yes. Guests will require tickets to attend the convocation ceremony.
There are no hotel blocks available to book. However, CPA Ontario members and students get access to exclusive discounts on select hotels. For more details, visit:
The ceremony is lengthy and includes loud music, making it unsuitable for young children. Please arrange alternative care for children to ensure a comfortable experience for all attendees.
Although attendance at convocation is optional, it is highly recommended as it offers a unique opportunity to celebrate your achievements with your peers. Unfortunately, there are no alternative dates available if you cannot participate in the scheduled event in-person.
Certificates are not handed out at convocation. CPA Ontario will mail certificates only to individuals who earn the CPA designation by completing all their obligations (i.e. practical experience, passing the CFE, etc.) to become a new member.
To access your tickets and send them to your guests, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Tassel account.
2. Navigate to the ceremony you registered for and click “View”.
3. You will see a ‘Tickets’ section displaying the number of guest tickets you selected. You may either send tickets directly to your guests by entering their email addresses or choose to send all tickets to yourself for distribution.
4. For a smooth check-in process, we recommend bringing printed copies of your tickets or saving them to your digital wallet.
Refreshments will be available during the networking events.
There will not be a dinner and dance. However, at each ceremony, morning and afternoon, we will have a networking event where light refreshments will be served.
Successful CFE writers will be seated alphabetically by last name. Guest seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.
By registering for this event, you consent to the use of any photographs or recordings captured during the ceremony for promotional purposes. The event will be photographed.
Following the event, a photo gallery link will be shared on our site.
The 2026 Convocation is exclusively for successful CFE writers from the year 2025. Due to capacity constraints, we cannot accommodate attendees from previous years.
